　　伦敦奥运会是伦敦第3次主办夏季奥运会。从1908年的白城体育场，到1948年的温布利会馆，再到2012年的“伦敦碗”，伦敦见证了奥运精神文化的起步、发展、坎坷与壮大，也为推动全世界奥林匹克运动的发展做出重要贡献。

　　为推动本届赛会圆满举行，组委会克服了经济危机带来的巨大挑战，在场馆建设、交通运输、市场开发、特许产品销售、门票销售、志愿者选拔、媒体推广等诸多方面取得了卓越成绩，各项筹备工作朝着预期的目标顺利推进。

　　我们期待着，在伦敦奥组委的努力之下，2012伦敦奥运会必将成为史上最成功的奥运会。

　　On the occasion of the 1 year count down to London 2012, the 30th summer Olympiad; Sohu, official website of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, on behalf of millions of Chinese netizens wish to express our since congratulations to you.

　　For the third time London is host to the Summer Olympics. White City 1908, Wembley 1948 and now to the ‘London Bowl’ of 2012. London witnessed the beginning of the Olympic spirit and culture and followed that growth and development through the rough and smooth times that followed, promoting the development of the Olympic spirit around the world.

　　To get to this point, the organising committee have overcome enormous challenges of economic crisis, venue construction, transportation, marketing, franchise sales, ticket sales, volunteer selection and training and media outreach. Many of the members have made outstanding achievements in the preparatory work towards smoothly reaching the goals.

　　We look forward to the fruits of the London Olympic effort and seeing the 2012 London Olympics being the most successful Olympic Games.
